Nowadays  we live the outset of  an ecological  and worldwide environmental crisis, basically affecting   developing countries like Morocco. Respect of nature, sustainable development and  environmental  protection are the essential measurements to abide by in order to preserve  our earth for the coming generations.
Nature has followed sacred cycles of life since the immemorial times, which  miraculously  has enabled our human race to progress and reach its actual consciousness stage. Unfortunately, in the last century, our modern civilization has partially destroyed  those  thousands years of evolution and biodiversity.
Actually, Morocco is facing a major ecological emergency; air and water pollution , deforestation , desertification , an alarming  water scarcity , horrendous control of trash , threatened  biodiversity , soils impoverishment…..
The speed and extent of these deteriorations incite  global awareness and  implementation of concrete  actions.  Accordingly; we have to help our  country  by  urging on a strong  eco-citizen feeling so as to  encourage and  push forwards all the efforts and projects are coming in this  field.
 Besides its geographic  location , Morocco is a major geopolitical pivot of Africa  and its history  makes of it a living symbol of transition , a vector between  modern and traditional world as well as between north and south.

This  tremendous  international aura provides Morocco with all the essential assets to  host the first ecological  and sustainable development festival in Africa holding as a theme « let’s revisit our planet »
